Come join our team in Weston, MA this summer for an exciting internship opportunity!
You will be joining an exciting new team called System Integration Team (SIT). We have a great breadth of product quality responsibilities, including Alpha, System, Performance, Infrastructure and Regression Testing.
The QA automation intern engineer will be responsible for identifying and eliminating defects (with full supervision from a senior + QA automation engineer) in A360 product suite to ensure customer satisfaction by creating automated test cases that cover feature interactions and customer escapes. You will design, development and execute new test scenarios, report bugs, solve problems and develop innovative automation tools. Challenge the design and implementation in a way critical to user experience; design and conduct tests/experiments for algorithm verification and validation. This role will be reporting to the Manager of SIT and will meet regularly with the SIT team members that represent each of our testing areas.
Key responsibilities
- Gain general understanding of A360 product features
- Create and maintain test cases
- Automate test cases
- Create issue tickets for bugs found
Preferred strengths
- Excellent communication skills
- Team Player, works well in a team environment
- Quick learner, rapidly understands technical tools, processes and A360’s product-line features
Requirements, skills, and knowledge
- Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field
- 0-1 year of experience
- Basic programming skills
- Familiarity with programming script languages
- Excellent analytical skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Available to work in a hybrid model environment with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office
- Internship will start on June 3rd and end on August 16th
