Key Responsibilities
Own the day-to-day publishing and distribution of marketing materials across key channels, including LinkedIn, YouTube and FAIQ ThinkTank
Collaborate with creative team, producers and marketing managers to develop content and execute social media campaigns for our North American business; includes volunteer initiatives, industry awards and events, and PR efforts
Monitor daily social activity; develop and support social listening across Columbia Threadneedle handles and competitor handles
Maintain social media spec and best practices guide, updating and sharing with the broader teams as needed
Manage onboarding, support and best practices guides for social selling initiatives
Assist with vendor relationships for social media platforms and related listening and publishing tools
Assist in production of reports for paid and organic social efforts, enabling continuous optimization and innovation
Support the team with ad hoc paid media campaigns and initiatives, including but not limited to trafficking and delivering assets to the media agency, paid search ad copy management, and providing the media agency with necessary data for reporting
Required Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business, or a related field
1 – 2 years of relevant experience in marketing, social media or communications is preferred (internship or co-op experience can count towards this)
Familiarity with social media platforms and social management and publishing tools, and an understanding how to use them effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to quickly learn new trends and adapt to changes in the fast-paced social media landscape.
Ability to analyze data to understand audience behavior and measure the success of campaigns.
