Job Description
Columbia Threadneedle Investments is seeking a proactive and highly organized Senior Administrative Assistant to support senior leaders and drive day-to-day efficiency. In this role, you’ll manage complex calendars, coordinate meetings and events, and handle communications on behalf of leadership. You’ll also oversee travel, expenses, presentations, and department initiatives—including town halls, offsites, and special projects. This position requires strong judgment, discretion, and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment while acting as a trusted partner to leadership.Key Responsibilities
Proactively manage executive calendars, prioritize meetings, and coordinate schedules across internal and external stakeholders
Plan and organize meetings, conferences, and events (logistics, materials, travel, etc.)
Review and respond to emails on behalf of leaders as appropriate, and flag items requiring follow-up
Prepare expense reports, invoices, presentations, communications, and travel arrangements
Support department operations, including programs like recognition, timekeeping, budgets, and supply management
Coordinate team offsites, events, and special initiatives
Provide project and program support (researching questions, coordinating efforts, handling ad hoc requests)
Mentor or onboard administrative team members; may provide guidance or leadership to others
Provide back-up support for other administrative assistants as needed
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
1–3+ years of administrative or executive support experience
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and tools like Outlook, Concur, Ariba, etc.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Strong judgment and ability to anticipate needs with minimal direction
High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
Experience supporting senior leaders or working in a corporate environment
In-Office Collaboration

Our employees work in the office at least four (4) days per week, with flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week. Base Pay Salary
The estimated hourly rate for this role is $30.10 - $41.35 / hour. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
