This position is an on-site role.
The incumbent will coordinate the work activities of the high-speed currency processing unit and will be responsible for performance monitoring, reviewing the accuracy of work, and performing other duties as assigned.
The following essential functions are not all-inclusive and may be supplemented as necessary. All applicants must meet departmental attendance standards.
- Provides ongoing operational support and work direction for high-speed processing, including, but not limited to assisting with:
- Developing team assignments to maximize performance (quality, backlog, inventory and productivity, etc.).
- Generating and monitoring required reports and logs.
- Managing currency processor documentation to retention guidelines.
- Inspecting team paperwork for completion and accuracy.
- Team settlement.
- Resolving out of balance conditions; Performing Bcurrency processor shred inspections; machine inspections, and end of day room inspections.
- Working with Field Engineers to diagnose technical issues with the processing machines.
- Scheduling training and other activities.
- Acting as liaison between management and operational staff, communicating management decisions and rationale, and communicating staff or team issues to management.
- Recommending operational improvements to management.
- Regularly assuming a leadership role in all problem resolution.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
This position is not required to directly supervise others and instead influences without authority. The following are attributes desired for the role:
- Knowledge and experience normally acquired through, or equivalent to, the completion of an Associate’s degree.
- Minimum of two years high-speed experience is desired.
- Demonstrated strong teamwork, oral and written communication skills, customer service orientation, analytical mindset, problem-solving abilities and comfort with independent decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and set priorities, and capability to be flexible.
- Full knowledge and understanding of TCOM and all applicable custody, control, security, compliance, procedures and requirements.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
- Communication skills reflect the ability to clearly and concisely communicate ideas or issues, assess the audience, and tailor communication appropriately.
- Working knowledge of required computer-based applications, currency processors, and other equipment and tools utilized in the daily operating environment.
- Ability to anticipate and independently correct processing and team problems.
- Mechanical background a plus.
