Principal Software Engineer-Angular,Java,Spring Boot

The Role

Asset Management Technologies is looking for a full-stack Principal Software Engineer passionate about developing a self-service web application to improve back-office efficiency of data processing. An ideal candidate for this role would have strong understanding of software design and engineering practices, obsessive about analyzing data needs, striving to improve data quality, strong engineering leadership skills, and deliver innovative web application solutions to our Strategic Advisor partners. This position is available in Boston, Merrimack, and Raleigh locations.

The Skills and Expertise You Bring

· 8+ years of most recent hands-on development experience with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, HTML5 and CSS3, Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs

· Working experience with AWS services, EC2, EKS, Datadog, CICD Pipelines

· Exposure to Python, SQL/PLSQL, and Kafka is a plus

· Exposure to test automation tools such as Cypress and Karate; unit testing tools such as Jest, JaCoCo, and Junit; Static scanning tools such as Sonar; mocking frameworks

· Embodies sound engineering principles and quality practices in data/software engineering, and passionate about delivering high quality code and the craft of software engineering.

· Strong leader, who is self-motivated, and drives continuous improvement with conviction.

· Highly curious and motivated quick learner; has proven ability to implement new/emerging trends and technologies with passion

· Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills and able to collaborate with cross functional teams in creating effective solutions.

· Experience in the investing domain is a plus

The Team

The Principal Software Engineer will be part of a global development team that focuses on building scalable and optimized business intelligence reporting to satisfy Strategic Advisers business needs. This team has a deep understanding of the Strategic Advisors’ data needs, their products, and applications.
