Position Description:

Drives standardization, new technology patterns, and solutions for pattern reference implementations and squad support needs (infrastructure, pipeline, and test automation). Develops and implements Application Program Interfaces (APIs) and improves User Interfaces (UIs) within technology platforms and frameworks using server-side technologies — Java, Node.js, and Python. Defines and drives the overall technical and software architecture to improve application development and security. Ensures responsiveness of Web design and infrastructure by employing client-side technology tools — HTML 5, JavaScript, CSS3, and Angular. Provides technical solutions for software pattern reference implementations using integration frameworks — Spring. Builds automation pipelines using DevOps concepts and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools — Jenkins, Concourse, and Terraform.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Creates clean, testable code in alignment with security protocols and standard methodologies – Oauth, Open ID Connect, and other related methodologies.

  • Evolves software architecture and technology roadmap leading to software application improvements within Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) environments — Agile.

  • Drives technical standardization and innovation that align with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud-based architecture and best practices.

  • Designs, develops and modifies software systems based on business-related initiatives and associated product roadmaps.

  • Develops or directs software system testing or validation procedures, programming, or documentation.

  • Influences and negotiates resolution of issues and conflicts.

  • Ensures technology decisions align with architecture standards and strategies.

  • Communicates vision and roadmap with various audiences.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and six (6) years of experience as Director, Architecture (or closely related occupation) analyzing, designing and developing secure rich interactive web applications or web sites based on financial business compliance using Asp.net, C#, Client side framework including angular.js, jQuery.

Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and four (4) years of experience as Director, Architecture (or closely related occupation) analyzing, designing and developing secure rich interactive web applications or web sites based on financial business compliance using Asp.net, C#, Client side framework including angular.js, jQuery.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

  • Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) developing and implementing complex business rules using IBM ILog Rule engine for Enterprise distributing systems and using Scrum or Agile methodology to develop core framework on guidelines of Test Driven Development and Behavioral Development practices.

  • DE working with system architects to review the best solution to complex problems and provide architecture design for the assigned projects to cover development, testing, & deployment using various .Net Design Patterns including Factory Pattern and Decorator Pattern.

  • DE coordinating with database analysts for creating new and modifying existing Database structures using different types of databases including Structure Query Language (SQL), Oracle and Mongo DB.

  • DE developing with 128 bit encryption storage and transmission (text and images) and providing Service oriented architecture middleware design solution which is based on .NET Framework Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and WEB API.
