The Role
You are strategic about opportunities to communicate with and engage various fintech audiences for growth. You are super organized and productive to build and execute on innovative campaigns and plans for building brand reputation, awareness, customer engagement, and product/solution adoption. You are a hands-on leader who will provide direction, management and coaching to a small, nimble team of direct reports. You also will guide internal and external marketing, PR and creative partners to deliver impactful campaigns that drive greater awareness, engagement, and user growth. You capably design approaches and manage execution for different stakeholders in your portfolio; these needs include consumer adoption, business adoption, and brand recognition. You make recommendations on the best approach to communicate to customers in the most effective channel while prioritizing digital approaches. You turn that strategy into action with design, development and delivery of best-in-class marketing and communications materials.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- 5+ years creating and delivering on integrated marketing and communications strategies
- Deep understanding of how to engage external customers through marketing and communications channels including social media, video, articles, infographics, newsletters, personalized email communications, app communications, web, and events
- Experience in fintech, financial services and/or technology fields preferred
- Highly organized and strong attention to detail
- Creative problem solver
- Solid writing skills: adept with short form as well as longer-form
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively based on the circumstances
- Ability to juggle multiple, competing priorities; estimate and manage project costs and budget
- Data-driven and curious about industry and competitor trends and customer preferences to provide well-informed recommendations
- Comfortable interpreting data, generating insights, and recommending optimizations/new strategies based on campaign performance and other benchmarks
- Experience with marketing technology with the ability to build and launch new capabilities and communications and learn how to effectively use new tools
- Develop and execute complex, multi-channel campaigns end to end
- Curiosity and the desire to learn
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment that requires resourcefulness to get answers
- Relationship-builder who can advance a positive direction, create and maintain trust, and influence action from others indirectly, making progress in environments where there are many guardrails (such as legal, compliance and/or brand)
- Executive presence with the ability to present a variety of topics with confidence
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

You will work with a passionate and talented team of fintech enthusiasts, technologists, and marketing and communications professionals at the Fidelity Center for Applied Technology and across Fidelity Investments.

The base salary range for this position is $100,000-$169,000 per year.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
