Are you passionate about data and helping others use it to make informed strategic decisions? Do you have experience in data analytics, data visualization and data prep – and are also a storyteller with a bit of a creative streak? We are looking for an analytic professional to be a creative and collaborative team member, helping to develop and evolve a data-driven organization by identifying, managing and sharing the right data to inform, assess and improve how we communicate with Fidelity’s most important stakeholders: our more than 80,000 associates, current and prospective customers, and key influencers such as media, policymakers, regulators and legislators.

The Role:

This role requires a dedicated, committed, and passionate individual who can:

  • Create and summarizes large datasets.
  • Collect and analyze data / develop insights and reporting capabilities to empower organizational leaders to make decisions.
  • Identify reporting requirements and build solutions end to end including sourcing data through report authoring.
  • Consult and partner with talented and committed cross-functional team members to elevate and drive world-class communications.
  • Have a natural intellectual curiosity, initiative, and love for learning new skills and capabilities.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Advanced Degree a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience generating analytical insights to drive business actions.
  • Experience with database querying, data analysis, data modeling and data visualization using tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Oracle, Snowflake, Google Analytics, and Adobe Analytics.
  • Has a sense of self-motivation and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to simplify and bring to life relevant insights drawn from multiple complex and disparate data sources.
  • Ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical teams alike.
  • The proactive pursuit of continuous improvement opportunities by seeking innovative solutions and creative approaches, as well as feedback from business partners.
  • An understanding of the principle of pace over perfection but also when each approach should apply.

The Team

The Corporate Affairs group is a centralized team of communication and policy professionals driving integrated, consistent external and internal cross-company messaging for Fidelity’s strategic enterprise and business unit priorities and initiatives across a diverse set of target audiences, including more than 60,000 associates, current and prospective customers, and key influencers such as media, policymakers, regulators and legislators.

This role is on the Operations team within Corporate Affairs. The team provides centralized support in the areas of written and creative content to support corporate and associate communications, governance around key messages, a centralized content library, data analytics to measure impact, and learning and development aimed at bringing outside best practices and innovations into the Corporate Affairs team.
