Job Description:

The Role

We are seeking a dynamic, tech-savvy marketing engagement manager to drive enhanced prospect and customer engagement with the Plynk app through various communications channels, primarily email, app and social. You will manage our Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) communications and create automated customer journeys to deliver newsletters and personalized email messages.

You will create and deliver push notifications that get noticed and drive action and ensure social media operations are smooth for our new and growing TikTok and YouTube channels. Your creative ideas and data-driven insights will help us break through the noise to attract new customers. This role requires technical execution, attention to detail, and a growth-oriented mindset to support customer engagement and nurture prospects.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Execution: Advance a comprehensive SFMC strategy in collaboration with the team. Hands-on building in SFMC including customer journeys, filtered data extensions and automations
  • Technical administration: Maintain SFMC connector to CRM (such as Salesforce Service Cloud) and ability to update connector, fields and data extensions to support new/updated fields
  • Defining Requirements: Evaluate project requests from business partners to define requirements and set SFMC expectations that meet objectives, minimize risks, and establish realistic deadlines
  • Advanced Journey Building: Build and manage complex journeys in Journey Builder to engage customers and nurture prospects
  • Tracking and Reporting: Continually monitor campaign performance and partner with measurement team to test and learn
  • Cloud Pages & Preference Center: Build and maintain SFMC cloud pages for customer preference center
  • Forward Thinking: Involved in planning for future enhancements to SFMC (integrations of additional channels such as push notifications and in-app messages, new features, release updates, etc.)
  • Best Practices & Data Insights: Champion best practices to maintain high deliverability rates and an optimal customer experience
  • Testing and Approvals: Render and test all assets prior to launch and receive proper business and compliance approvals
  • Multi-channel support: Lead the expanded use of push notifications to drive app engagement and support social media operations, bringing data-driven and creative insights to grow awareness and acquisition

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on knowledge in Salesforce Marketing Cloud; certification preferred.
  • 5+ years experience in email marketing and automation with demonstrated performance.
  • Experience building Emails, Data Extensions, Automations and Journeys, and maintaining a healthy Marketing Cloud connector (to Service Cloud).
  • Ability to write SQL queries, AMPScript, HTML and CSS
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM is a plus.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment is also a plus.
  • Familiarity with workflow management tools like JIRA
  • Exceptional soft skills, including written and verbal communication, team building, and the ability to influence.
  • Creative and curious, eager to try new approaches and learn new tools to drive impact
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment that requires resourcefulness to get answers

The Team

You’ll be a member of the Marketing and Engagement team for the Plynk app, aligned within the high-performing Marketing & Engagement team of the Fidelity Center for Applied Technology. You will collaborate with an extended team of marketing, product and technology experts all focused on delivering innovation and growing the customer base.

The base salary range for this position is $81,000-$137,000 per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
