Director, Strategy and Planning

The Team

Opportunity to join the small and robust team that develops and drives Fidelity Wealth’s strategy, competitive insights, and business development efforts. This role is specifically responsible for supporting Wealth’s strategy development and strategic planning processes, packaging and communicating the strategy and further developing the mechanisms that build strategic alignment across the leadership team. This role will also be asked to support the vendor program management for Wealth and on occasion to support and lead other efforts within the team, ranging from business development opportunity sizing, competitive modeling, and special ad hoc projects requested by Wealth’s Senior Leadership Team.

The Expertise You Have

  • 3+ years of analytics, finance and/or quantitative management consulting experience; 5+ years working in a professional environment
  • Proven impact supporting executive levels of an organization
  • Experience in successfully navigating large organizations and getting things done within them
  • Financial Services experience and/or knowledge
  • BA/BS required, MBA or equivalent master’s degree in quantitative field preferred

The Value You Deliver

  • Support strategic planning process to ensure organizational alignment and progress towards multi-year goals
  • Support Wealth SLT meeting agenda and executive touchpoints to make sure the team is focused on the highest priority topics to drive the business forward
  • Support vendor program management across the Wealth business and ensure proper alignment with enterprise efforts
  • Package and communicate insights to a broad audience (from entry level associates to senior leaders) in an engaging and accessible format
  • Own the development of analyses on areas of strategic interest, collaborating where vital with other internal groups (e.g., Wealth Finance, CKSI)
  • Act as connection point to other strategic initiatives within Wealth to ensure alignment with broader ecosystem
  • Exemplify leadership behaviors for driving initiatives / work while embracing Fidelity’s culture and values
