The Role
The Investment Production Analyst (Model Portfolios) is a product marketing specialist primarily supporting Fidelity Model Portfolio collateral. The focus of this work involves managing, producing, and delivering a variety (and high volume) of model portfolio marketing collateral on an ongoing basis. In addition, core responsibilities include supporting all aspects of team engagement into the Fidelity Model Portfolios initiative for new Fidelity ('off-the-shelf') and client ('custom') model collateral needs. Success means having a strong attention to detail, an unwavering dedication to producing quality and accurate work, and an ability to handle competing priorities. - Managing, producing, and ensuring data integrity of Fidelity Model Portfolio product marketing collateral (specifically Allocation Flyers and Performance Commentaries) through all phases of the production cycle (drafting, updating, piece assembly, review, and compliance approval). These materials present model allocations, expense data, performance, risk and yield characteristics, and commentary language. Ongoing legal, compliance, and standards revisions must be implemented consistently and universally in all materials.
- Supporting the development of new collateral standards to meet unique product requirements for both 'off-the-shelf' and 'custom' model portfolios.
- Collaborating with direct teammates, marketing colleagues, and model portfolio product business partners to ensure all reoccurring deliverables are managed and delivered on-time with latest and accurate content and data.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree (requiring a strong communication and research background)
- 3+ years of professional experience
- Experience managing libraries of collateral with a focus on maintaining universal standards and consistency
- Investment knowledgeable, an understanding of model portfolio products is a plus
- Experience using various financial tools including but not limited to Morningstar Direct
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel: utilize formulas, pivot tables, and other tools to aggregate and organize large data sets
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint: graphically articulate data and implement design standards
- Experience using investment collateral management software (specifically Seismic) is a plus. Prior experience is not required, but possess the aptitude to quickly learn new technology and software applications
- SQL knowledge a plus
- Ability to produce consistent accurate work is a must
- Excellent verbal, analytical, and written skills
The Team
The Investment Production Team is part of the Investment Marketing Services group, a division of FI and Asset Management Marketing. We primarily support the analytical and consultative work of the Asset Management Investment Product Group and Institutional Portfolio Management. These groups describe and develop Fidelity financial products; contribute to a clear, consistent Asset Management story; articulate investment philosophies and styles of fund managers; explain performance attribution; and conduct research and analysis at the macro, sector, and fund levels. The objective of this work is to attract and retain assets across various Fidelity financial products.
The base salary range for this position is $71,000-$112,000 per year.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
