Director, Human Resources, Enterprise Technology

The Role
The purpose of the HR Director role is to work with technology leadership teams to implement the human capital strategy for the business. You will work with the senior leaders and their direct reports (SVPs and VPs) to drive key HR strategies impacting business performance. These include organizational design, compensation cycles and retention strategies, employee and leadership development and workforce planning and performance management mentor. In this role you will use your knowledge of HR to diagnose, implement and advise on HR processes and programs, and work with other members of the Technology HR team to drive enterprise and function-wide initiatives in support of the technology business strategy and goals.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- 12-15+ years of HR generalist/business partner experience
- Experience inspiring change initiatives and crafting strategic workforce plans
- Strong eye for business
- Ability to think strategically and pragmatically in order to implement and deliver the human capital strategy
- Experience working with technology associates preferred but not required
- Experience working in agile environment preferred but not required
- You demonstrate strong intuition for business and know how HR and talent strategies can drive business results
- You partner well with leaders at all levels to help influence strategic decisions and have proven the ability to provide sophisticated solutions to complex issues
- You have an inherent curiosity about interpreting data, recognizing trends and themes, and collaborating with the business using measures and results
- You connect and integrate HR priorities and services to ensure magnificent, aligned, and scalable service delivery
- You are an excellent project coordinator and think end-to-end about the work to be implemented
- You are an effective collaborator who easily builds relationships with HR colleagues and business partners to deliver results
- You are proficient in change management and understand key points of engagement, communication, and influence
- You have demonstrable experience in influencing business leaders and managers on issues that could affect the operating environment
- You are a problem solver and have proven independence, autonomy, and accountability when implementing your work, even in the face of ambiguity or limited precedent
- You conquer new concepts quickly and simplify sophisticated ideas into easily understood concepts (conceptual thinking)
- You demonstrate dedication to progress; you are not satisfied with the status quo
- You enjoy working on initiatives that extend beyond the business unit to the technology function
The Team
Be a part of the Enterprise Technology (ET) HR line team. Our team is responsible for delivering the human capital strategies for the technology organization, driving technology-wide HR strategies and initiatives. It’s an exciting time to join the ET HR team in support of the technology function. As Fidelity is evolving to become a digital company, we’re partnering with the technology leaders to transform the function to continue our legacy of market leadership and product innovation. This role will be a Line HR Business Partner role.
