Job Description:

The Role

As a key member of our Digital Solutions team, you will play a crucial role in expanding our Acquia website offerings with the business team, supporting sales and scoping efforts, in addition to building and enhancing customized websites for our clients. We are seeking a talented individual who can design and create responsive and elegant interfaces using Acquia Site Studio and Site Factory, while also mentoring others in the creation process. Additionally, the role will also ensure an inclusive user experience by adhering to accessibility standards. Your experience with the Drupal content management system will be vital in performing advanced site-building tasks and mentoring junior site builders. You will also be actively involved in all phases of the project lifecycle including working directly with the client, collaborating with cross-functional teams, budgeting, billing and managing project financials. The project lifecycle includes aiding the sales team during the initial scoping and proposal phase, as well as assisting with marketing materials; working directly with the client and consulting team to define and document requirements and managing deliverables through to the final release.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience working with content management systems. Preferably, in Drupal-based sites using Site Studio or Widen/Digital Asset Manager

  • Experience managing a team of site builders, including capacity management for team resources and deliverables in an ever-changing and fast paced environment

  • Ability to manage project financials, track budgets, estimate project scopes, and ensure billing consistency with client contract terms

  • Proven history of working with developers to build websites, including drafting thorough requirements and testing for cross-browser compatibility and accessibility

  • Expertise in web development, including basic knowledge of HTML and CSS, along with proficiency in Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics

  • Effective collaboration and ability to work with cross-functional teams, especially to provide technical insights that help facilitate sales

  • Familiarity with Agile and waterfall methodologies; experience with JIRA and Confluence is a plus

  • Effective problem-solving skills applicable to developing digital communications strategies and managing websites with evolving technical landscapes and client priorities

  • Ability to balance multiple projects and coordinate effectively with clients and business partners to develop and implement effective and creative digital solutions

  • Skilled in simplifying and presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical business partners

  • Proven expertise in implementing and managing processes to enhance team efficiency and execution quality

  • Experience or curiosity about the employer benefits industry, including retirement plans, health plans and work/life programs is a plus
