Job Description:

The Role

The Relationship Management role is responsible for supporting Fidelity Agency Lending’s clients and helping drive the growth of Fidelity’s Agency Lending business! The primary functions of this position are to act as a contact for clients and support sales effort as it relates to marketing and on boarding new clients.

This position will be focused specifically on the international clients with the expectation of working non-standard hours: Mon-Fri, 2 AM -12:30 PM EST.

  • Thoughtful and proactive leader in the on-going management, compliance and daily oversight of client programs
  • Act as primary contact for clients on day-to-day activity, providing timely, accurate, and efficient responses
  • Thoughtful preparation and production of high-quality presentation materials including the sourcing of information from internal and external sources
  • Participate in, in person client meetings and presentations providing program and market insights, performance explanations, regulatory information, and other industry color
  • Understand all contractual obligations for assigned clients and ensure program is operating within those parameters
  • Aid in defining the future state of the business through product development and program enhancements
  • Leverage the breadth of Fidelity Investments and cultivate reciprocal and cross selling business opportunities

The shift requirements for this role will be Mon-Fri, 2 AM -12:30 PM EST. Please note this may be subject to change.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or CFA a plus
  • 4+ years of experience in relationship management at an Agent Lender
  • FINRA Brokerage licenses 7 & 63 (if not currently registered, such exams must be passed within six months of hire)
  • Detailed knowledge of the equity, fixed income, and economic policy, and how they interact with securities lending
  • Strong understanding of the securities lending industry, and the associated operational processes
  • Success in a strategic relationship management environment servicing asset managers and other helpful owners
  • Experience leading production targets from a tactical and strategic perspective
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to create strong partnerships with stakeholders across matrixed organizations
  • Outstanding ability to leverage competitive strengths in building client relationships demonstrating proficiency and strategic thought
  • Exhibit a professional, helpful, proactive demeanor in addition to a strong work ethic. Working independently, as well as part of a team
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to quickly and effectively balance multiple priorities and assignments
  • Detail oriented with proven track record to see open issues to resolution
  • Experience on boarding new clients, and providing standard and ad hoc reporting
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, some coding experience a plus

The Team

The Relationship Management role will be an integral part of the growth and expansion of Fidelity Agency Lending! The team is part of the Securities Finance Division within Fidelity Capital Markets. Our mission is to provide our clients with outstanding client service and help with alpha generation by maximizing the value of the securities in their portfolios while minimizing operational and credit risk.

The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $155,000 per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
