Job Title

Financial Analyst (FA) – High Income, FAMS, and FDAM (Asset Management)

The Role

Are you interested in providing Finance support to one of the largest Asset Managers in the Industry? Do you want to support Fidelity’s flagship Mutual Fund business? If so, this Finance role will keep you engaged and provide numerous development opportunities.

We are looking for an individual that has great problem-solving skills, has a desire to learn, can bring energy to the team and has a curious mindset to understand all aspects of business problems, initiatives, and analyses. This role will focus on providing financial support and analysis for the High Income/Alternatives, Fidelity Asset Management Solutions (FAMS), and Fidelity Digital Asset Management (FDAM) Organizations, supporting each investment team accordingly.

Core responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting business and financial planning activities, profitability, budgeting, and forecasts
  • Utilizing tools and business knowledge to provide insightful information via reporting and analytics that evolve with changes in the business
  • Improving and/or building automated reporting views, dashboards, and expense models
  • Assisting in development of executive presentations for senior management to help inform decision making

The Expertise and Skills Your Bring

  • A bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or Economics; MBA or advanced degree a plus
  • 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry
  • Strong analytical, communication, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with financial databases, planning solutions, and visualization tools a plus. (Power BI, OBIEE, Tableau, and Anaplan)
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and reliably meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and solve a variety of moderately complex problems
  • Displays strong desire and willingness to learn new skills
  • Energetic, demonstrates initiative and active team player
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills

    The Team

    As part of the Asset Management Finance Team within Fidelity Management & Research Company (the investment management arm of Fidelity) you will work with a dynamic team using the latest tools and technology to develop and enhance your essential finance skills. The Asset Management Finance Team collaborates with a variety of stakeholders including senior management, central finance, and the strategy team to drive initiatives and deliverables across Asset Management. As a member of the team, you will also have multiple opportunities to lead and contribute to critical short- and long-term Asset Management wide initiatives.
