The Purpose of This Role

Our Director, Business Analysis / Chapter Leader role blends a deep level of expertise for delivering product solutions with a passion for hiring, developing and leading people. This multifaceted role allows you the opportunity to deliver independently as a Business Analyst and as a manager (Chapter Leader) of 5-7 Business Analysts as part of the Customer Solutions Business Analysis team. In this position, you will enable your team to execute, grow and develop in their area of expertise while also owning and delivering critical features independently as a key member of our Fiduciary Solutions team. You are chief advocate for Business Analysis Chapter excellence and actively engage in Chapter initiatives while partnering with product area leadership to meet their resourcing/talent needs and deliver product capabilities.

As a seasoned leader, you will effectively balance your time between successfully leading your individual deliverables and supporting your team as they lead and execute work across the broader Defined Contributions Innovation product roadmaps. You will provide effective leadership and management across deliverables with a focus on communication, risk mitigation, quality assurance, effective delivery and building strong relationships. You will be a key member of the Fiduciary Solutions Product Delivery team within the Defined Contributions Innovation Product Area working closely with a team of cross-functional, multi-disciplinary, and dedicated team members responsible for delivering specific business goals within our Workplace Investing Emerging Businesses.

The Expertise We’re Looking For

  • 15+ years of Overall Experience spanning across Business/System Analysis, Project/Program Management, Product Management and People Leadership

  • Agile experience with Jira or similar Agile backlog management tool preferred

The Value You Deliver

  • Participate in defining the product roadmap, developing more detailed quarterly execution goals and working independently across business and technology partners to produce key deliverables.

  • Partner effectively across multiple stakeholder teams to develop a strong presence that that enables successfully collaboration and delivery to meet business objectives

  • Act as a role model and promote Fidelity leadership behaviors to create an innovative, results focused culture

  • Work with key partners to define product features and maintain awareness of internal and external market trends impacting product direction

  • Establish trusted relationships with key business partners in Sales, Operations, Implementations, Technology and Legal, Compliance, and Risk to drive initiatives to completion

  • Support, mentor and coach members of your team enabling them to deliver more successfully across the breadth of features they will support

  • Provide day to day leadership, mentoring and development planning for your team of Business Analysts as they support the overall goals of the DC Innovation Product Area

  • Extensive experience across product development lifecycle – including business analysis & research, business process mapping, the documentation of business requirements, user acceptance testing and product deployment.

The Customer Solutions Business Analysis Chapter works closely with a team of cross-functional, multi-disciplinary, and dedicated team members responsible for delivering specific business goals aligned to the Workplace Investing Product Roadmap. We are customer obsessed and driven to analyze, design and deliver features, products and services that align to our customer’s needs.

Customer Solutions is a global organization and our mission is to drive the realization of results by translating business objectives into actionable plans and solutions that drive customer value! We provide Business Analysis expertise necessary to support Business and Technology delivery of prioritized work utilizing Agile and scrum techniques within Fidelity Workplace Investing.
