The NQDC & New Market Offering Domain exists to focus and deliver upon the needs of our Stock Plan Services and NQDC Clients and their Participants across NQDC as well newer markets we serve such as the Private Market as well the Global market. The domain focuses on four major tenets in operating principles and design decisions:

  • Delivering Customer Value: Listening and adapting to our customers’ (Sponsors and Participants) needs to deliver the best SPS and NQ experience.

  • Enabling Growth: Developing new capabilities to attract prospects and enable us to enter new markets

  • Driving Scale and Efficiency: The opportunity to bring value in our market starts with reducing unit costs.

  • Diversity and Inclusion: Celebrating differing voices and perspectives in our products and our people.


As the NQDC & New Market Offering Portfolio Delivery Lead, you will own the successful delivery of the NQDC & New Market Offering portfolio in partnership with the delivery teams and business partners. The NQDC & New Market domain is a combination of product lines within the Fidelity Stock Plan Services business, some of which are matrixed across the broader Workplace Investing business unit. This will require you as a leader to thrive in an environment of leading large complex programs in a matrixed organization with a commitment to delivering high impact. To succeed, you will blend broad product and delivery expertise with an obsession for delivering business partner and/or customer value. You will help set the Domain vision, strategy and roadmap for the portfolio priorities and drive planning and alignment across the Product Areas and respective partners. You will own oversight of project engagements across the domain and provide strategic inputs into organizational alignment and initiative definition associated with the work to ensure successful delivery. You will ensure continued alignment and prioritization in the work being delivered across Product Areas throughout the quarter and aligned to the 5-year plan and own key portfolio views and routines. As a leader, you will empower these teams, and associates to maximize value delivered through prioritization, creativity, innovation, collaboration, and decision making while also playing a supportive role in identifying structural questions that hinder success. By demonstrating and promoting Fidelity and agile leadership behaviors, you will evolve and sustain an innovative agile culture. You will focus on looking at “what’s next” and formulating a strategic point of view as we develop our multi-year roadmap, while also assisting with the intake of new initiative requests and driving the most important initiatives with execution discipline. You will also lead a small team of Program/Initiative Leaders executing across the three product lines.


In an agile structure, you will partner with and enable a group of Product Areas, Chapter Leaders, and COEs around strategic goals, business partner or customer experiences, products or product sets, or platforms.

The Expertise You Have

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred

  • 15+ years of work experience

  • Agile Leadership Experience

  • Proven track record executing complex programs across multiple, cross-functional teams across various products, customer segments, and technology platforms

  • Experience engaging with executive and senior (C-suite) internal and external customers and partners

  • Fluency partnering with technology on program execution and defining and leading sophisticated products and programs within the domain and across the business

  • Financial services experience, with brokerage experience a plus

  • Ability to create a psychologically safe culture that drives debate and encourages all levels to challenge each other for the betterment of our business and our clients.

  • Executive level experience leading the development of broad, complex, innovative solutions and product offerings aligned with and in support of the strategic direction of the organization

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills with which you influence and engage externally with customers and internally, across Fidelity and at all levels of the firm

  • Passion for developing associates and an ability to attract and retain hard-working individuals and teams, and a proven commitment to diversity and inclusion

  • You have strong resource and financial management competence and successfully establish and maintain alignment with budget commitments.

    • Establish objectives and critical metrics that align with and enable delivery of strategic priorities and measure performance against agreed upon business, technology, financial, and people results

    • Evaluate capacity needs and ensure access to and the best utilization of resources through alignment of ongoing prioritization, evolution of the domain mission and customer sentiment and feedback

    • Remove impediments to delivering on strategic priorities and value

    • Responding to the needs of our customers, and the market, industry, and regulatory changes by continuously evolving and aligning strategic priorities

    • Sharing relevant insights, knowledge, and developments across the Domain

  • Encouraging continuous learning and development, a growth attitude and increased skill proficiency

  • Leading innovative growth strategies as part of Fidelity’s highest critical initiatives (e.g., Fidelity Neighborhoods), and attracting new customers, growing revenue, driving efficiency, and enhancing technology platforms

  • Working with chapter and product area leaders to develop technology roadmaps, to drive consistency in use of platforms and APIs to minimize duplication and manage IT costs
