The Role
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Orchestration team, you will get the opportunity to develop your skills and collaborate with engineers across Fidelity in a fun and dynamic environment. You will collaborate with a team of talented engineers to build a reliable service that manages all of Fidelity’s crypto processes, utilizing modern software development practices.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field required.
5+ years' experience in software development using object-oriented programming languages like Java.
3+ years’ experience building REST based micro services in Java and Spring Boot
Experience with unit and integration test automation using Junit and Mockito
Experience with relational databases and SQL.
Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms, and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes.
Experience with asynchronous workers and resilient messaging services such as Kafka, SNS and SQS
Ability to build reliable software that can withstand unreliable environments.
Enthusiastic and committed to learning new things and developing with the latest technologies and frameworks.
Possess a strong sense of ownership and works well in a small agile team.
Strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at any given time.
Participate in engineering practices such as code and design reviews, environment strategy, and build and deployment pipelines.

Within Fidelity Digital Assets℠, the Orchestration Team is responsible for the backend service that systematically runs our processes such as deposits or withdraws. The team closely works with the operations team to ensure we meet our client’s needs.
