Job Description:
The Role
As a member of the Fidelity Digital Assets, LLC (FDA) Compliance team, this role will serve as an informed and trusted business partner, who promotes an environment of ethical conduct and dedication to compliance, regulatory and legal obligations. This role on the Compliance Governance and Operations Team, will support compliance oversight of FDA, collaborating closely with many teams within FDA and across the Fidelity organization, such as various Enterprise Compliance, Risk, and Operations teams.
You Will:
- Collaborate with the other teams to identify and manage compliance risks.
- Identify potential gaps in controls and collaborate on remediation plans.
- Define compliance requirements, identify and document controls, and develop FDA specific compliance related policies and procedures
- Build connections between FDA and Enterprise Compliance policies and functions.
- Assist in managing internal records management controls, ensuring that all records are stored properly and managed to their appropriate retention requirements.
- Partner with the teams to build, maintain, and improve management reporting systems to highlight compliance status and raise critical issues to senior leadership.
- Partner with international compliance teams to support compliance readiness
- Supporting the Compliance Team's efforts to form positive relationships with regulators, respond to regulatory exams, and inquiries.
- Partner with areas like AML, Risk, Records Management, Cybersecurity, and Privacy Programs, to ensure that FDA is meeting internal and external requirements.
- Remain up-to-date on regulatory changes and landscape, best practices and new developments in the industry.
Experience You Bring:
- 5+ years of related experience in Compliance, Risk or Legal.
- 4-year college degree required; Masters, MBA or JD is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and experience leading a team.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Positive relationship skills; ability to articulate well.
- Strong ability to balance working independently and as part of a closeknit team.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced, complex regulatory environment.

This team reports to the Chief Compliance Officer for Fidelity Digital Assets, a full-service, enterprise grade platform for securing, trading, and supporting investments in digital assets.
