Job Description:

As a member of the Owned Channel Health team, you will be responsible for the ongoing monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of channel effectiveness and capability offerings/enablement, ensuring continuity of service, collaboration between owned channel marketing and technology business partners across wealth and brokerage, and the establishment, refinement, enhancement, and implementation of owned channel marketing best practices for new and existing messaging channels.

This requires a self-starter with attention to detail as well as strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have prior marketing communications and/or agency experience as well as a background working within the financial services category.

The Expertise We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, advertising and/or communications.

  • Agency experience a plus

  • Experience with Agile principles a plus

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment with multiple priorities, ability to meet deadlines, manage risks, assess and prioritize changing business needs.

  • Understanding of marketing initiatives across multiple digital channels and leveraging them to drive strategic business outcomes while mitigating customer friction points.

  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of the end-to-end campaign execution process, including workflow coordination, stakeholder alignment, and performance tracking.

  • Experience leading, developing, and measuring digital campaigns, including being a champion of best practices, defining the targeting and test plan strategy, developing strong learning agendas, coordination of resources to deliver defined outputs, and using engagement and business metrics to determine effectiveness of communications and make go forward recommendations

  • Passion for being customer focused

  • Demonstrated innovative thinking and smart risk taking

  • Leverages analytics to derive data-driven insights to inform strategic planning and management of marketing campaigns.

  • Excellent PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word skills required.

  • Prior experience with digital marketing platforms including Adobe, Salesforce, Tableau, and other content management systems.

  • Knowledge of Financial Service Industry and our Products and Services preferred

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and are easily adaptable to change

The Purpose of Your Role

As a member of the Owned marketing channel health team, you will be responsible for initiatives that help drive Fidelity’s owned marketing efforts, ensuring alignment to published standards and best practices. As a member of the Channel Marketing team, you will serve as an advocate, educator, facilitator, and change agent across multiple product teams, execution channels, and workstreams, while staying focused on customer experience, brand alignment, efficiency, quality and business results.

  • Experience in executing digital marketing campaigns– with emphasis on email, .com, digital events, or mobile messaging.

  • Outstanding project/program management, and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives at once.

  • Resourceful, self-sufficient, effective problem solver and troubleshooter even in the face of ambiguity and competing priorities.

  • Ability to challenge the norm and drive innovation.

  • Energized about working collaboratively with an appreciation for the value of diverse opinions and different skillsets.

  • Understand and appreciate the impact of data and an ability to interpret and apply it effectively in each distribution channel.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate clearly and concisely.

The Value You Deliver

You will work closely with many cross-functional teams to evaluate, manage and measure owned marketing programs and initiatives. This role is primarily responsible for advocating for the holistic channel marketing strategy and the customer experience across the digital channels. Working with technology, channel marketers, and data engineers you will help to enhance channel offerings, reduce friction in the customer experience, and drive innovation across our digital marketing solutions.

You will partner with the larger marketing and analytics team to ensure our digital channels continues to drive incremental business outcomes, while delivering high quality experiences for our customers.
