Job Description:

The Role

In this role as Director, Engagement & Change Management Strategy, you will focus on leading and supporting efforts to build and execute superior, cohesive readiness, engagement and experience strategies on a range of topics supported within ET HR – including manager and leader effectiveness, performance and pay cycle, talent practices, rewards and recognition, associate experience, learning, etc.

  • Creating and managing strategic solutions that create awareness, build understanding, drive action, and enhance associate experience; appropriately leveraging communications and learning tactics, opportunities for feedback, and measurement

  • Leading and supporting efforts to capture technology associate feedback and sentiment through roundtables, supplementing existing Enterprise feedback channels; providing recommendations for consideration

  • Crafting and editing compelling, clear content for key communication, readiness and education tactics, including monthly technology leader education sessions (slides, presenter talking points and panelist questions), monthly e-newsletters, videos, playbooks, leader messaging, etc.; coordinating timing, branding and distribution

  • Developing and supporting change management strategies to help drive adoption and behavior changes; helping ensure alignment with other tech talent strategy initiatives

  • Partnering with key HR team members including Talent Management, Learning & Development, HR Business Partners and other subject matter experts as a member of cross-functional teams to assess and meet engagement and change management needs

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree; Experience creating communication content for leadership and a large enterprise business setting

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to synthesize/enhance content from business partners and turn sophisticated themes into compelling content for a variety of audiences and channels and with strong attention to detail

  • Passion for innovative, authentic and effective messaging that help audiences feel informed, connected, inspired and supported

  • Strong consulting and customer-focused mindset with a sincere desire to help and solve problems

  • Proven experience driving behavior change and leveraging change management principles and tactics (e.g., audience analysis, change agent networks, stakeholder listening)

  • Effective storytelling skills and ability to articulate large complex problems and solutions at the right level for senior leader consumption and decision-making

  • Confidence and curiosity to ask challenging questions and create value by offering creative solutions and options

  • Ability to effectively influence internal and external partners through clear communication; speaking up to offer insight

  • Strong project management experience, including management of end-to-end solutions

  • Positive teammate who works well independently and with others; ability and desire to develop and grow impactful relationships with the team through collaboration and a mutual commitment to success

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and nimble environment; self-starter with strong delivery orientation, obsessed with quality but can balance pace and perfection and manage multiple, competing and oftentimes shifting priorities

The Team

Working within the Enterprise Technology HR team, the Engagement & Change Management Strategy team is responsible for informing, educating and inspiring new behaviors and actions in support of Fidelity’s technology talent strategy through a best-in-class engagement experience

The base salary range for this position is $103,000-$174,000 per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
