Job Description:

    The Role

    The Asset Management Risk team is responsible for risk management of the Asset Management business. AM Risk is responsible for proactively identifying, analyzing, aggregating, and reporting on significant and emerging risks to assist management in improving their controls and processes.

    The candidate will represent the firm in collaborating with business partners by articulating risk policies and procedures. Specifically, the role will include:

    • Reporting on significant and emerging risks to assist management in improving their controls and processes
    • Program management of risk programs like Sarbanes Oxley Certifications, Records management, Risk Assessment tracking
    • Analyze data and controls to identify and measure risks
    • Use data visualization tools to develop risk management reporting
    • Assist in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data from various sources to identify trends and patterns
    • Create visualizations and reports to present findings to stakeholders
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights
    • Help maintain and improve data quality and integrity
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute to data strategy discussions

    The Expertise You Bring

    • Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Finance or STEM based degree preferable)
    • 3-5 years of Risk Management experience or relevant program management experience
    • Strong analytical, technical and critical thinking skills
    • Knowledge of data analysis techniques and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau), a plus
    • Knowledge of financial markets and products
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

    The Team

    Asset Management Risk provides direction to management and business units in proactively identifying and monitoring risks in order to protect the interests of the firm. To execute this goal, Asset Management Risk is responsible for identifying, analyzing, aggregating, and reporting on significant risk events and helping management develop and improve their controls and processes.

    Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
