Dining Room Manager/Specialty Dining
The Role
The Dining Room Manager is an experienced hospitality professional who manages reservations, oversees service, and ensures a pleasant atmosphere for our signature venues. This role is focused on providing exceptional customer service in an unobtrusive manner and the individual will have a passion for creating memorable experiences. Key responsibilities include training and supervising staff, liaising with the kitchen, managing the ambiance, and handling customer issues to maintain high service standards and guest satisfaction. The individual will be comfortable serving high-level Fidelity executives and external guests and is part of a team that is proud to create an exceptional food and beverage experience.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Oversee the daily operations of the front of house team – servicing breakfast, breaks, lunches and occasional receptions/dinners – ensuring the rooms run smoothly, efficiently and according to established service standards in partnership with the signature venue team
Supervise the waitstaff team on a daily basis, providing training, giving pre-service briefings, creating work schedules and motivating the team to deliver excellent service in a positive environment
Manage reservations, ensure booking accuracy and clearly communicate dietary restrictions with the culinary team
Report on volume of activity and projections

You are a highly motivated individual who can multitask and enjoys a fast paced yet organized environment. You appreciate working on a customer obsessed team and are willing to share your own experiences and skill set, while also able to confidently work independently. You are detail-oriented with a desire to strive towards flawless execution. The manager is highly organized and able to balance both on the floor and desk responsibilities. While on the floor, you are experienced in table and buffet food and beverage service. You provide a pleasant, welcoming and memorable experience, and have discretion, poise, professionalism and patience. The ability to stay calm and provide actionable solutions to problems under pressure is paramount.
The manager will have a natural curiosity about food and beverage trends and collaborate with the Executive Chef and culinary team to ensure that special requests and dietary restrictions are accommodated in a thoughtful manner.
High school degree is required, and a college degree is preferred
Experience in an upscale dining setting
Solid computer skills (Microsoft suite of products to include Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
ServSafe Food, CPR Training & Alcohol Certification preferred
