Job Title: Vice President, Finance
The Role
As Vice President of FBOT Central Finance, you will report to the SVP of Business Strategy and Central Finance and lead strategic and tactical financial planning across FBOT. This includes overseeing multi-year planning (MYP), quarterly business reviews (QBRs), budgeting, forecasting, and ad-hoc analyses. You will also manage the enterprise outbound print expense approval process and coordinate executive-level vendor management approvals.
You will act as the Head of Central Finance for various department leaders, engaging with the FBOT Finance team and senior leadership to deliver enterprise value and elevate Finance’s role within Fidelity. The position demands high autonomy and interaction with senior stakeholders across FBOT and the broader Fidelity finance community.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent (10–15+ years experience) or Master’s degree (8–12+ years experience)
- Proven experience leading finance teams and delivering strategic initiatives
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence executive decision-making
- Business maturity and confidence to work independently and cross-functionally
- Demonstrated leadership and talent development capabilities

The Team
Fund and Brokerage Operations and Technology (FBOT) supports all areas of Fidelity’s business, including Asset Management, Brokerage, Wealth, Workplace Investing, and Institutional services. FBOT also serves thousands of wealth management firms through its clearing and custody business (IWMS). You’ll be part of a high-impact team that collaborates across Fidelity to drive financial strategy, performance management, and modernization efforts.
The base salary range for this position is $130,000-264,000 USD per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
