VP, Program Management & Delivery
As the VP, Program Management & Delivery, you will own defining and maintaining the Asset Management Technology (AMT) strategic roadmap and delivery standards in collaboration with VP, Strategy & the Domain Delivery Managers. Your work will involve close collaboration with enterprise technology, finance and other Asset Management program management teams. You will lead a group of experienced program managers responsible for large, strategic, cross-Asset Management technology and cross-Fidelity programs.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the AM Technology strategic roadmap, integrating domain plans and providing program status updates, in collaboration with the AMT strategy team and Domain Delivery Managers
- Establish technology portfolio management standards, processes, and tooling to ensure accuracy and compliance in partnership with domain delivery managers and enterprise technology colleagues.
- Influence enterprise methodology and tooling based on delivery experience and stakeholder input.
- Design scalable governance frameworks to enforce standards to ensure AMT is consistency delivering and communicating status of the AMT Strategic Portfolio.
- Build and mentor a team of senior program managers to lead cross domain and cross BU initiatives on behalf of AMT.
- Coach the domain delivery managers on delivery excellence and best practices.
The Expertise and Skills You Have
- 15+ years of delivery or project management experience handling large, complex programs alongside senior level steering committees
- 5+ years of software solution delivery experience in asset management or similar business areas
- Proficient understanding of asset management business context, rooted in customer outcomes
- Strong grasp of the software development lifecycle and experience working closely with cross-functional solution teams to deliver large scale technology initiatives
- Ability to drive and align execution of Programs with all stakeholders across Product Teams, Functions, Domains, and BUs
- Strong leadership, mentorship, and change management skills
- Ability to balance strategic and tactical priorities
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, peers and team members, in a matrixed environment, on program management and ways of working best practices
- Proven strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and articulate connections across separate, but related, concepts
- Proven ability to collaborate cross business units in a large financial services company on delivery related transformation and best practice programs
- Excellent communication skills, adaptable to various audiences
- Intellectual curiosity with a continuous improvement approach
- Experience encouraging delivery best practices, and supporting the overall performance and efficiency of a Program
- Experience in various roles in cross functional software solution teams and consulting is a plus
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
