  • Collaborate with senior technology leaders across ET and business units to understand evolving needs and ensure vendor capabilities are aligned.

  • Drive vendor governance and performance management, including scorecards, SLAs, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives. Partners with due diligence teams to assess risk posture across financial, technical, and operational dimensions.

  • Negotiate complex contracts and renewals in partnership with Legal, Procurement, and Risk teams, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with Fidelity Standards.

  • Champion technology excellence by staying current on emerging trends, evaluating vendor capabilities, and advising on build vs. buy decisions.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and collaboration within vendor management team and across the broader technology organization.

  • Optimize vendor pipelines, ensure deep understanding of contractual terms, and align capabilities with technology strategy.

  • Orchestrate stakeholder alignment for new engagements, renewals, and exits to ensure timely, strategic decisions. Provide periodic updates to senior leadership.

  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand and evaluate infrastructure, cloud, software, and emerging technologies.

  • 10+ years experience in technology vendor management, strategic sourcing, or IT relationship management, preferably in large enterprise.

  • Proven leadership experience managing high-performing teams and influencing senior stakeholders.

  • Deep understanding of vendor lifecycle management, contract negotiation, and performance governance.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.

  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment (e.g., financial services) is a plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability as effective people manager, innovator and change agent

  • Ensure vendor compliance with Fidelity policies, procedures, and standards

  • Oversee, measure, and report vendor performance relative to contracted expectations, including matrixed responsibilities for supplier management activities in Risk Management, Supply Management, and Legal

  • Lead assessment of vendor risk and monitor vendor financial viability, resiliency, and management stability

  • Drive continuous improvement with all key suppliers through effective project lifecycle management and business process engineering efforts

  • Provide strategic insights into vendor ecosystems, including how parent companies and subsidiaries interact and impact Fidelity’s technology stack

  • Enable enterprise-wide visibility into vendor usage, helping business units make informed decisions about vendor engagement, investment, and risk
