Develops areas of strategy development, business analysis, risks, and opportunity assessment by implementing analytical and problem resolving methods, using analytic technologies (Alteryx, SAS, SQL, R, Python, Tableau, At Scale, Adobe Analytics, and Informatica). Executes programs using database queries (R, Python, and SQL) and data visualization tools (Qlik and Tableau) in an Agile environment. Summarizes complex analyses and concepts to executive and non-technical audiences, using data visualization toolsets. Provides customer experience and product development teams with data-driven and actional insights to enable objective and informed decisions.
Primary Responsibilities:
Supports a robust Business Intelligence (BI) platform.
Supports an agile inter-disciplinary team by providing product development, customer experience, marketing, and technology support.
Confers with data processing or project managers to obtain information on limitations or capabilities for data processing projects.
Consults with customers or other departments on project status, proposals, or technical issues, such as software system design or maintenance.
Devises development standards, offering guidance on best practices and pitfalls in data visualization technology.
Participates in development efforts for data visualization dashboarding, including data extraction from multiple reporting sources.
Liaises with internal technology teams to develop and enhance capabilities of tools and data feeds.
Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation, aligning data strategies with organizational goals.
Mentors junior team members.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, Business Administration, Data Science or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience as a Senior Manager, Data Analytics and Insights (or closely related occupation) performing data analysis to derive insights from large datasets using Excel, Python, and Tableau.
Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, Business Administration, Data Science or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Manager, Data Analytics and Insights (or closely related occupation) performing data analysis to derive insights from large datasets using Excel, Python, and Tableau.
Skills and Knowledge:
Candidate must also possess:
Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) assembling, cleaning, and organizing large data sets from disparate sources; conducting exploratory data analyses; and identifying areas of missing or incomplete data and detecting salient patterns and signals in the data using Excel, Tableau, and Python Libraries (Numpy and Pandas).
DE extracting, transforming, and analyzing unstructured and semi-structured data to derive insights from multivariate data sets using Excel; and summarizing key insights and actionable take-aways for go-to-market and sales strategies of financial products to technical and non-technical audiences using PowerPoint.
DE analyzing, pivoting, organizing and presenting multi-dimensional data using Excel; developing and executing automation process for data loading and template populating by setting up ETL pipelines using Python; and transforming data outputs into Excel and PowerPoint for internal and external stakeholders.
DE developing, interpreting and executing business requirements to create data solutions using Python; documenting data processes and specifications using Word; and building or migrating data analytics processes onto virtual cloud-based machines using Python and Git.
Salary: $137,025.00 - $166,000.00/year.
