The Role
As a Vice President, you are responsible for overseeing the delivery of strategy consulting projects. Our projects aim to solve Fidelity’s most critical business issues, and your role is highly valued by Fidelity’s business leaders to drive critical thinking forward. Your thought leadership, team management, and client relationship support shapes the future of Fidelity’s businesses. In addition, your work as an integral member of the Fidelity Consulting ("FC") management team helps to strengthen our group.
Our Vice Presidents lead strategic projects critical to our business. These projects are typically staffed with three to six associates over a four-to-six-month timeframe. As Vice President, you help scope the projects, lead and manage workstreams, and partner with Fidelity business leaders to drive successful outcomes.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
MBA degree or equivalent is preferred.
You must demonstrate interest or experience in the financial services industry.
The position requires significant consulting experience with multiple years in the project manager role and experience counseling clients/partners, preferably with a top tier consulting firm.
You must have outstanding analytical, communication, conceptual thinking, project management and problem-solving capabilities.
You have both the flexibility and the skill to lead and contribute to teams.
Experience with project and team management, specifically including strategy development, evaluation of new products and services, and business transformation
Ability to synthesize analysis and research into strategic insights and practical recommendations, including strategic analysis, financial analysis, operational analysis and primary/secondary research
Capable of influencing middle to senior management, through both personal interactions as well as the creation and delivery of presentations
Ability to assess risk and operationalize findings – turning research into actions
Proficient in quantifying challenges and requirements related to execution
Driver of decisions in complex environments with multiple partners
Adept at leading multiple projects/initiatives at once
Skilled in building relationships with peers and executives in a variety of capacities
A desire to work with people development and mentoring

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
