Senior Research Services Analyst
The Role

The function of this job ensures investment professionals have access to valuable external research to drive the investment decision making process. We believe your client service skills will help you forge relationships with management and investment professionals through your proactive support of their external research needs. We know you will improve our processes for handling external research vendors and develop innovative ways for research spend governance! - Acting as liaison between Investment Professionals and external vendors, leading approvals for research costs and delivering ad hoc spend and/or eligibility data to analysts and management
- Supporting investment professional requests for existing research service providers and assisting in appropriate due diligence process with legal and compliance
- Partnering with Investment Services colleagues to kick off contract renewal processes for existing research vendors
- Running the quarterly research vote cycle including quality checks on data and reporting vote results
- Collaborating with IIS Commission Uses, Vendor Administration, Vendor Relations and Market Data teams on eligibility changes and updates, and workflow integrations
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Education: Bachelors degree
- Customer service or client facing experience
- Attention to detail, ability to analyze and synthesize a wide range of data into valuable insights utilizing excel and/or other technology
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills
- Financial services experience preferred
- Masters of Library & Information Science, not required but useful
The Team
Research Services is a team within FFIO Consolidated Data Services group. We are responsible for managing all external research vendor relationships across Fidelity, the research vote, and the soft dollar eligibility program on behalf of Asset Management.

The base salary range for this position is $74,000-141,000 USD per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
