Director of Strategy and Operations

The Role
This role is a member of the FCFE leadership team, with a primary focus on strategic planning and execution. The individual partners closely with FCFE leaders on executive management communications, leadership routines, planning processes, business reviews, budgeting, and the multi‑year planning process.
In addition, the role carries operational responsibilities across Statements of Work (SOWs), Procurement, Business Continuity, Dynamic Working, FREC initiatives, all‑associate meetings, intellectual property, and team‑wide operational capabilities. The individual will work with FCFE leaders to establish governance and engagement models that increase transparency across key initiatives and will deliver reporting and insights to support effective decision‑making.
At times, this role will function as an accelerator of work or as an extension of the FCFE leadership team.

- Exceptional collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively and influence across diverse stakeholders
- Strong analytical, communication, conceptual thinking, project management, and problem‑solving capabilities, including the application of strategic frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information into clear, compelling executive‑level materials, including the creation and delivery of presentations to senior management
- Ability to prioritize and execute in a fast‑paced, occasionally ambiguous environment, with flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities
- Comfort taking direction from multiple leaders, working independently, and navigating ambiguity
Experience:
- 8+ years of experience preferred in strategy, planning, business operations, and/or project or program management
- Bachelors degree required, Masters/MBA preferred

The base salary range for this position is $110,000-222,000 USD per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
