The Role

We are seeking a Senior Data Analytics & Insights Analyst to support our data‑driven research and consulting efforts. In this individual contributor role, you will perform hands‑on data analysis, secondary research, and insight development to help inform business decisions, strategic priorities, and operational improvements.

You will work closely with partners across the business to gather data, analyze trends, translate findings into actionable insights, and support decision‑making at multiple levels of the organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both analytical depth and business storytelling—without people management responsibilities.

  • Analyze, synthesize, and interpret large datasets to produce meaningful insights
  • Partner with internal teams to understand business questions and design analytical approaches
  • Support ongoing research initiatives that influence strategy and decision‑making

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree required; post‑graduate degree a plus
  • 4+ years of meaningful experience in data analysis, secondary research, insight development, or consulting analytics
  • High proficiency with SQL as well as other data analysis tools (e.g., Python) and data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI)
  • Strong understanding of the digital data landscape
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights and recommendations
  • Experience in or exposure to a strategic consulting environment is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present analytical findings to non‑technical audiences
  • Ability to work independently, manage timelines, and take ownership of deliverables
  • Curiosity and desire to continually expand skills and capabilities
  • Interest or experience in the financial services industry
  • Familiarity with research databases (e.g., Morningstar Direct, Capital IQ, Pitchbook) a plus
  • Experience or interest in AI/ML concepts is a plus

The Team

Fidelity Consulting ('FC') consists of ~100 top talent strategy consultants who work across the Fidelity enterprise to inspire, identify, and define new paths for Fidelity’s future. Fidelity Consulting partners with leadership to shape Fidelity’s future by bringing critical thinking and independent insights. We deliver value in a variety of ways, from leading small group projects focused on growth and innovation, to consulting on enterprise-wide initiatives. As a part of the FC team, you will gain exposure to a wide variety of strategic business challenges – preparing you for increasing leadership roles and advancing your career.

The base salary range for this position is $80,000-$153,000 per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
