Position Description:

Delivers discreet analyses and research, contributing to the breakdown and synthesis of resolutions for business issues. Performs research in order to synthesize findings and develop practical, concrete recommendations. Identifies and defines new paths for the enterprise’s challenges and strategic opportunities, in consulting, strategy, and financial services industries. Conducts organizational studies and evaluations, designs systems and procedures, conducts work simplification and measurement studies, and prepares operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively. Plans study of work problems and procedures, such as organizational change, communications, information flow, integrated production methods, inventory control, or cost analysis.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Gathers and organizes information on business problems or procedures.
  • Confers with personnel to ensure successful functioning of newly implemented systems or procedures.
  • Analyzes gathered data and develops solutions or alternative methods of proceeding.
  • Documents findings of studies and prepares recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, and organizational changes.
  • Analyzes internal data stacks using analytical tools (Excel and SQL) to model investment outcomes and forecast product and segment growth.
  • Develops and implements financial strategies, process improvements, and operational efficiencies to optimize client performance.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to assess market trends, investment opportunities, and risk management strategies.
  • Prepares and delivers presentations, reports, and recommendations to senior stakeholders, translating data into actionable insights.

Education and Experience:

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Consultant (or closely related occupation) building client relationships within a financial services environment using the Acknowledge, Respond, Pivot (ARP) communication strategy.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

  • Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) presenting strategic insights, recommendations, and progress updates to stakeholders and executive leadership; and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams (legal, finance, accounting, and marketing) for alignment between business development efforts, product offerings, and overall company goals, using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • DE assisting with international expansion opportunities and optimizing operational processes -- coordinating hiring and training activities, and providing support for a cross-functional team of international personnel to help execute projects for new business accounts and contribute to growth initiatives; conducting competitive benchmarking to develop pricing strategies; and helping track business opportunities, tracking progress, and preparing regular reports, using Trello and Asana.
  • DE testing customer facing enterprise back-end applications pre- and post-installation, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing for complex use cases, using Java, JUnit, and Amazon internal test framework.
  • DE developing appropriate funding structures by synthesizing primary and secondary research (industry reports and public press); and informing business decisions by preparing investment materials -- financial models, deal memos, and presentations -- using Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and IMDBPro (for market research and film financial data).

Salary: $165,000.00 - $169,000.00/year.
