The Role
This end-to-end Solution Architecture role supports multiple enterprise platforms in the Marketing domain within Fidelity Wealth.

  • You will work with the business and technology leadership to build capability maps, define interim and target architectures, data flows and roadmaps to help deliver the technical products that enable and support our business capabilities.
  • You will work with product and engineering teams to help champion innovation, drive standardization, and deliver modern technology patterns across the technology stack for our stakeholders.
  • You will partner with business sponsors, product owners, engineers and other architects in an agile (scrum) environment to design, test, and implement technology solutions while mentoring engineers throughout the process using architecture standards and guidelines.
  • You will drive Fidelity’s architecture vision through contributing to product road maps and influencing business vision.


The Expertise and Skills You Bring
An ideal candidate will have a solid computer science foundation, an effective
combination of interpersonal and technical skills, as well as passion for learning and expanding in various technologies. You will have demonstrated experience in integration projects and familiarity with industry standard integration patterns with focus on reusability and scale when it comes to building and deploying capabilities.

6+ years’ experience engineering/developing web enabled applications and some
combination of the following:

  • Proven track record as a Solution Architect designing and building scalable solutions with very strong analysis skills
  • Working knowledge in all aspects of solution architecture (infrastructure/network topology, application architecture operational excellence, security, reliability, resiliency, performance efficiency, cost optimization)
  • Experience with various architecture styles such as SOA & Micro-Services
  • Experience with event-driven, serverless architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Experience in all aspects of AWS cloud computing (infrastructure, storage, platforms and data)
  • Experience in full-stack development of N-tiered applications
  • Well versed in Java / .NET, Typescript and Angular
  • Working knowledge of Relational, NoSQL, In-memory databases and Data Warehouses (Snowflake)
  • Working knowledge of frameworks like TOGAF & Amazon Well-Architected Framework
  • Experience with agile development, DevOps, Automated Testing and CI / CD
  • Heightened awareness, experience or passion for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player with stakeholders across organizations.
  • Contribution to the open-source community would be beneficial


Certifications:

AWS Certified Architect Associate or AWS Certified Architect Professional

The Team
This role will support multiple engineering teams delivering technology products within the Marketing domain to help Fidelity drive and implement Fidelity’s business vision for our customers. This role will coordinate closely with the product owners and other colleagues across the enterprise to ensure teams’ alignment on overarching enterprise architecture, business and technology goals.

The base salary range for this position is $126,000-255,000 USD per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
