As a Security Receptionist you serve as a key member of the Global Security Operations team, embodying the role of a Brand Ambassador for our organization. Your primary focus will be to deliver exceptional customer service while collaborating with a team of dedicated security professionals.

This role is pivotal in creating a memorable and welcoming experience for all Fidelity associates, visitors, vendors, and customers, ensuring they receive top-notch hospitality and safety assistance. You will be the first point of contact for all individuals entering our premises, representing Fidelity with professionalism, and adhering to security protocols.

Responsibilities/The Value You Deliver:
• Warmly greet and welcome visitors, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere at our facilities while following established security procedures.
• Manage the visitor management system or entry log to ensure accurate records and effective security measures.
• Perform all building access and check-in procedures, including issuing badges for guests and employees.
• Maintain vigilance and promptly report any suspicious behavior or unattended objects to the security team.
• Identify and report potential hazards and security issues, such as spills, obstructions, or malfunctioning doors, to the appropriate Janitorial staff, Facilities Administrator, and/or Security Managers promptly.
• Demonstrate effective verbal communication skills and active listening abilities.
• Utilize life safety equipment, such as fire extinguishers, first aid supplies, and radios when required.
• Administer basic first aid and CPR.
• Perform Administrative tasks as needed.

The Expertise We are Looking For / The Expertise You Have:
• Possess 1-3 years of prior experience in a customer experience or related role.
• Preferred bachelor’s degree in a related field of study
• Strong interpersonal skills and keen observation abilities
• Ability to perform effectively under stressful conditions.
• Exhibit a high level of integrity, professionalism, organization, and situational awareness with a talent for multitasking and prioritizing efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
• Proficiency in MS Office programs and an ability to learn security-related access control software.
• Demonstrated adaptability to address emerging needs while fulfilling regular responsibilities related to visitor management, safety, and security breaches.
• Embrace a positive and team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays based as operational needs dictate.
• Exceptional communication and social skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
• Demonstrate traits such as integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, self-awareness, and a strong work ethic.
• Highly motivated with a can-do approach, and collaborative team-oriented problem- solving attitude.

The base salary range for this position is $48,000-91,000 USD per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
