The Role

As a member of the Capital Markets Strategy and Planning team, you will work closely with leaders and teams across the business to identify, develop and implement business opportunities that will drive new sources of revenue and improve operational efficiency. The ideal candidate should be both highly inventive with the ability to partner, execute and lead through influence.

  • Influencing: Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to work across the organization and interact/influence/negotiate effectively at all levels of management and peers

  • Strategic / Analytical Thinking: Ability to contribute to assessments, framework development, and provide insight on strategic topics

  • Project Delivery: Ability to support, facilitate, and deliver single or multi-workstream efforts spanning multiple teams or cross-business partners

  • Communications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven track record of preparing materials with a nuanced understanding of subject matter and intended audience

  • MBA is or advanced graduate degree preferred

  • 5 years of experience, including experience at a consulting firm or corporate strategy group; other relevant experience would include decision support / financial analysis, product development/GTM strategy, and business case development

  • Highly proficient with MS Office – Excel and PowerPoint in particular

  • Intellectual curiosity and desire to understand and define drivers of business success

  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability for deliverables

The Team

The Capital Markets Strategy and Planning team owns growth strategy for our Capital Markets business. This includes identifying new business opportunities, developing business cases, and implementing growth initiatives; identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiencies; managing routine business review processes within FCM and representing FCM across the enterprise.

The base salary range for this position is $110,000-$222,000 per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
