The Role
This role will reside within the PB Optimize Product Management Team. The Product Manager will support the PB Optimize platform with a primary focus on solutioning margin replication, collateral analytics, and stress-based financing workflows. The role blends product ownership, analytical depth, and client facing responsibilities. It requires the ability to collaborate with Risk teams, Technology, Sales, and Account Management, while engaging sophisticated hedge fund clients. This candidate will help drive the evolution of PB Optimize by delivering key product enhancements and contributing to thought leadership in financing technology. The role operates in a fast paced and challenging, competitive environment while supporting a team-oriented culture.
* PB Optimize is a portfolio finance / treasury technology solution offered primarily to hedge fund clients of Fidelity Prime Services. It initially launched in 2012 and currently services +200 clients.
Support the design and enhancement of margin replication capabilities that align with PB Optimize strategic initiatives
Contribute to collateral management workflows and ensure accurate, transparent margin and exposure outputs for clients
Monitor and analyze market trends and movements. This involves observing market trends and estimating the significance they will have on platform and client portfolios.
Respond to changing market conditions by conducting ad-hoc exposure analyses across the hedge fund industry, often at the request of senior management and/or business partners.
Partner with SME’s to ensure the platform reflects real world risk practices and control expectations
Translate business and client requirements into clear product specifications and user stories.
Support roadmap planning and participate in delivery cycles with Technology teams.
Conduct testing and validate releases to ensure improved accuracy, performance, and usability.
Participate in client meetings and discussions, including in person sessions with hedge funds that use PB Optimize for financing and risk workflows.
Gather client feedback and identify needs that guide enhancements and new features.
Assist in presenting product capabilities and explaining risk concepts to sophisticated users.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Bachelors or equivalent with 8+ years of experience or Masters with 3+ years of experience
Prime Brokerage industry knowledge coupled familiarity with hedge fund trading strategies, financing mechanics, and portfolio risk drivers.
CFA or progress towards CFA preferred
Experience with Agile development methodology preferred
Strong technical background, particularly with consumer-facing platforms and protocols.
Familiarity with user-interface and information architecture principles.
Strong business and data analysis skills.
High-energy performer with ability to be responsive to shifting business and customer needs.
Self-driven and able to manage multiple initiatives end to end in a fast paced setting
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to create strong team, internal and customer relationships.
Excellent product management and tracking skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong presentation skills a plus.
Experience with internet platforms, distributed applications, and protocols a plus.
Experience with Prime Brokerage and securities finance technologies a plus.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
