In this role, you’ll partner across the business to identify risks, shape response plans, and lead exercises that build confidence and readiness across the enterprise.

Leading risk-based assessments, evaluating third-party dependencies, and developing practical response strategies are at the heart of this role. You will be supporting resilience planning, coordinating across teams, and strengthening day-to-day operational readiness by improving how we respond to vendor outages. Your work helps ensure Fidelity can continue to serve customers, even during unexpected disruptions.

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, along with exposure to financial services or operational risk environments. Certifications in continuity planning are welcomed but not required and can be pursued after joining.
  • Success in this role comes from being able to assess risk thoughtfully, build strong relationships, and communicate clearly across both business and risk partners.
  • You are comfortable reviewing vendor resilience capabilities, identifying gaps, and working collaboratively to develop practical solutions.
  • You enjoy solving complex problems, asking thoughtful questions, and challenging existing approaches to drive improvement.
  • You are also comfortable managing multiple priorities in a changing environment and using tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and Word to organize information and communicate insights effectively.

Note: Fidelity will not provide immigration sponsorship for this position.

What You’ll Do

  • Assessing critical vendors and identifying potential risks and single points of failure
  • Evaluating how services can continue or recover during vendor disruptions
  • Reviewing vendor continuity plans and providing thoughtful feedback
  • Developing response playbooks that outline clear actions and escalation paths
  • Leading exercises that test readiness and strengthen response capabilities
  • Partnering with stakeholders to address gaps and improve resilience strategies
  • Sharing insights and recommendations with senior leaders
