The Fidelity Institutional (FI) Product & Advisory Solutions Finance team supports the FundsNetwork (FNW) platform, as well as FI’s Wealth Advisory Managed Solutions (WAMS) and the FI and Asset Management Marketing organizations as they deliver solutions and insights to our Institutional and Intermediary clients to help them better serve their customers. The team’s portfolio includes a breadth of products and services, spanning Fidelity and 3rd party investment products, marketing and thought leadership, brokerage and banking solutions, and managed account products and platforms. In addition, the FundsNetwork team manages relationships with over 700 asset managers whose investment products are distributed through Fidelity’s Institutional, Retail, and Workplace channels.
Our finance team plays a pivotal role in defining, executing, and ensuring the success of the products and services that comprise FI’s and FNW’s future-ready revenue model.
The Purpose of Your Role
Managing a team of three associates, your role is to lead finance’s support of the WAMS organization, which owns FI’s Custom SMA and Custom Model Portfolio products, the FMAX managed account platform, and a suite of Portfolio Construction tools and services offered to financial intermediaries. The finance team’s core functions include performing financial analyses, supporting client/product pricing decisions, developing and delivering financial reporting, and leading budgeting and multi-year planning efforts. Success will require building strong relationships with leaders in the WAMS organization and other business partners across FI, developing, supporting, and enabling your team to deliver high-value work to our various stakeholders, and leaning into the complex and evolving world of managed investment solutions with intellectual curiosity, independent thinking, confidence, and a strong work ethic.
The Expertise You Have
· A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or equivalent training
· 8+ years of relevant work experience; people-management experience preferred
· Proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI and/or Tableau a plus

The Value You Deliver
- Advise and consult with leaders across the WAMS organization on economic implications of decisions such as investments in new products and enhancements and product pricing strategy
- Organize, prioritize, and set expectations with partners regarding finance projects and deliverables
- Provide ongoing insight into the performance of FI and Enterprise initiatives such as FMAX, Model Portfolios, SMAs, and Portfolio Construction
- Lead multiple client / product pricing processes to support FI’s growth while maintaining strong ROI
- Work effectively across the organization to accomplish our objectives
Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
