Senior Manager, Compensation

The Role
As a Senior Manager of Compensation, you will play a critical part in the execution, governance, and continuous enhancement of Fidelity's Executive Compensation and Shareholder programs. As a key member of the Executive Compensation team, you will leverage your expertise in compensation analysis, program management, executive compensation administration, and cross-functional partnership to support compensation programs across the organization. This position also plays an important role in supporting executive compensation governance, compliance, and risk management activities.
You will be responsible for analyzing complex compensation data, supporting executive compensation processes and initiatives, and partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with enterprise objectives. This role requires elevated analytical capabilities, strong business acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate a highly visible and regulated environment.
The Experience and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5-7 years of related work experience, preferably in HR or Compensation
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with an interest in learning new tools
- Understanding of internal HR tools such as Workday, WIA/WFDL, and Compensation Planner
- Experience utilizing external market data and compensation survey sources
- Strong ability to analyze large datasets and draw actionable conclusions
- High degree of accuracy and solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to work across a large organization and manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to create executive-ready materials
- Ability to manage highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Ability to build relationships and consult with all levels of the organization
- Strong program/project management skills
- Ability to listen and respond effectively to information, and to give and receive feedback
The Team
As a member of Fidelity's Executive Compensation team, you will work alongside industry-leading compensation professionals in support of Fidelity's compensation philosophy and executive pay and Shareholder programs.
The Executive Compensation function operates in a highly collaborative and cross-functional environment, partnering closely with Business Unit Compensation teams, Human Resources, Finance, Legal, Corporate Governance, Payroll, and Workforce Analytics. In addition, this role regularly engages with external compensation consultants, market data providers, and other third-party vendors that support executive compensation programs.
Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
