The Role

The Fully Paid Lending Associate role requires a highly motivated team player with strong brokerage industry experience. Individuals in this role are responsible for driving and supporting further growth of Fidelity’s Fully Paid Lending Program and customer lending activities for both institutional customers and channel customers.

  • Analyzing client holdings, identifying opportunities, and driving the education and enrollment process from end to end
  • Serving as the primary contact and SME for PI Brokerage Consultants actively calling out to the top FPL opportunities
  • Providing tremendous client service and support to participating clients across PI and FI.
  • Maintaining and leveraging relationships with participating clients, intermediaries, and internal business partners.
  • Developing a strong understanding of the regulatory rules governing our business; positioning the firm to avoid any issues as best as possible.
  • Assisting with future product development and program enhancements

The Expertise and Skills You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage competing demands
  • Several years of financial services experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Experience with python preferred
  • Series 7 and 63 required (and eventually a Series 57)
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively identify issues, analyze complex situations, and implement effective solutions
  • Strong attention to detail and sound judgment in high-pressure situations
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple business functions, including Legal, Compliance, Regulatory, Trading, and Operations, to deliver client-focused solutions
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with a desire to challenge existing processes and drive operational efficiency and scalability

Typical work hours for this role are 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

The Team:

Fidelity Capital Markets is the institutional trading arm of Fidelity Investments, providing trading products and services to a wide array of clients, including buy-side institutions and hedge funds, as well as to Fidelity’s own businesses. Fidelity Capital Markets offers a suite of electronic brokerage products and execution services across multiple asset classes including equities, fixed income, options, and forex, as well as prime brokerage, securities lending, and municipal and bank issued brokered CD underwriting. Our product coverage includes Equity Block Sales/Trading, Program/Electronic Trading, SAM Trading, International Equity Trading, Prime Brokerage, Soft Dollars, and New Accounts.

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.

The base salary range for this position is $70,000-100,000 USD per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
