As a Vice President in the Index Derivatives Trading team, you will work with us to cover institutional accounts and develop a systematic risk-taking approach

Job Responsibilities
• Price and manage index-linked products in collaboration with senior stakeholders
• Focus on developing proprietary strategy to improve positioning and build a systematic framework
• Work closely with the QR team to find new opportunities across APAC Indices for dynamic risk taking and inventory optimization
• Manage risk from index flow products and achieve agreed revenue targets
• Partner with infrastructure functions to ensure proper control, accounting, and clearing procedures
• Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements, firm-wide risk framework, and internal policies
• Work in a dynamic trading floor environment and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Structuring, or Quant Investment Strategy in supporting index trading or relevant experience in systematic trading
• Strong programming skills (Python, C++, KDB) with high degree of numeracy
• Strong awareness of market structure changes and regulatory impact
• Experience working collaboratively in highly productive teams
• Excellent communication skills, especially around complex concepts
• Thoughtful, logical, and motivated to learn
• Able to work effectively under pressure; tenacious and self-motivated

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
• Experience with cross-border transactions and international markets
• Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, FRM) is a plus
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for trading in APAC
• Demonstrated leadership in driving process improvements
• Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and client needs
• Experience with infrastructure and control functions
