As a Fund Servicing Manager III within JPMorganChase, You will lead the AP servicing team while driving continuous improvement, automation, and risk reduction. Partnering with Custody, Fund Accounting, Product, and Technology, you will ensure timely, accurate settlement, robust collateral management, and consistent delivery against regulatory and client obligations.
Job responsibilities
- Oversee management of ETF order inquiries and resolutions; ensure timely, accurate responses to APs and issuers.
- Monitor end‑to‑end ETF order settlement and aging; manage exceptions and escalations to closure.
- Facilitate CNS balance order transactions; coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to meet market cutoffs.
- Lead collateral management: validation, processing, and release of ETF order cash in line with control standards.
- Produce and distribute collateral reporting to APs and ETF issuers; maintain transparency on requirements, movements, and balances.
- Own collateral requirement calculations, reconciliations, and variance resolution; oversee AP order fee movements and reconciliation.
- Maintain and govern AP/counterparty standard settlement instructions (SSI); ensure data quality and timely updates.
- Establish static data for new ETF funds; partner with Product, Legal, and Operations to enable launch readiness.
- Maintain a daily Settlement Dashboard with the status of all open and settling orders; track KPIs, aging, and breaks.
- Manage AP communications for incoming/outgoing wires; initiate and monitor wire requests for collateral, cash components, and order fees.
- Return collateral following subsequent settlements in accordance with policy and client agreements.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 7+ years in ETF operations, AP services or custody/settlement
- Proven track record managing end‑to‑end settlement, wire flows, SSIs, and static data for ETFs.
- Strong control mindset with experience in reconciliations, break management, and issue remediation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; adept at coordinating across Operations, Technology, and external counterparties.
- Experience leading teams and delivering process improvements at scale.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience with automation and operational tooling; comfort with data analysis and dashboarding.
- Project/change management exposure, including launches and platform enhancements.
- Strong presentation skills; ability to articulate performance, risks, and remediation to senior audiences.
- Working knowledge of fund accounting linkages to ETF settlement and collateral.
