As an Executive Director in the Equities Electronic Client Solutions team, you will drive strategy execution, governance, and day‑to‑day operational stewardship of our electronic trading platform and infrastructure in Asia Pacific. You will execute client integrations, low‑latency market access, and risk controls, partnering across functions to deliver resilient, scalable solutions aligned with commercial and regulatory objectives. You will join a broader cross‑functional team, partnering across product, engineering, markets, risk, legal, compliance, and operations to deliver measurable outcomes.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive electronic trading platform strategy execution and governance, including co‑location and market data distribution for client setups
- Drive platform and infrastructure enhancements based on client demand and regulatory change, including pre‑ and post‑trade risk improvements
- Execute end‑to‑end client integration: define market access (latency, co‑location, native protocols, risk workflows), documentation, certification, and go‑live
- Provide senior day‑to‑day coverage of low‑latency platforms and clients; handle exceptions across positions, inventory, and risk controls
- Produce client reviews using performance analytics (latency, burst rates, fill ratios) and identify optimization opportunities
- Partner with prime brokerage, production management, and application development to maintain stability and address scalability and capacity needs
- Establish transparency and control mechanisms with credit, market risk, legal, and compliance to support growth
- Coordinate vendor relationships with third‑party infrastructure and risk solution providers; evaluate tools against control standards
- Define and track performance goals across resiliency, capacity, client adoption, and delivery timelines; report progress to senior stakeholders
- Share best practices in integration, risk management, and operational excellence; provide peer mentorship as needed
- Ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory requirements, firmwide risk frameworks, and internal policies
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in equities electronic trading platforms or systematic cash equities infrastructure
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technology discipline
- Proven track record delivering complex electronic trading platform initiatives across the full lifecycle
- Strong knowledge of low‑latency trading applications, system architecture, network engineering, market access protocols, and exchange connectivity
- Expertise in electronic trading risk controls (pre‑trade order checks, post‑trade portfolio calculations, systemic kill switches)
- Demonstrated ability to drive client integrations and custom market access solutions in Asia Pacific markets
- Strong technical communication skills; able to triage and escalate system issues while keeping clients informed
- Experience partnering with prime brokerage, technology, legal, compliance, risk, and operations in a front‑office environment
- Data‑driven approach to platform analytics and client performance insights
- High attention to detail; organized, execution‑oriented, and effective under pressure
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience coordinating initiatives across global lines of business related to electronic trading
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks affecting electronic trading and market access in Asia Pacific
- Prior front‑office financial services experience within an electronic trading team
- Working knowledge of capacity planning, resiliency engineering, and production management best practices
- Multilingual proficiency beneficial given client base; professional English required
