As an Analyst in Credit Ratings & Debt Advisory within Debt Capital Markets, you will advise on issuer rating considerations and support debt origination and execution. You will build financial models, analyze credit profiles, and coordinate with clients and rating agencies to drive efficient rating outcomes and financing readiness. You will contribute to presentations, financial models, and transaction documents, and help manage discrete workstreams on live deals under guidance from senior team members. You will develop expertise in credit analysis, market research, and project management in a collaborative team environment with significant exposure to ratings methodologies and capital structure advisory.

Job responsibilities

  • Deliver credit and debt advisory services for credit ratings, special situations and debt-related transactions
  • Advise on credit rating and debt considerations and recommend financing timing, structure, and pricing for fixed income issuance
  • Conduct financial modeling to support credit analysis, debt advisory, and eventdriven financings, including but not limited to debt capacity analysis, event-driven pro forma leverage and coverage analysis, ratings case development, and sensitivity/scenario analysis
  • Support deal origination and execution as part of crossfunctional transaction teams by preparing analysis, materials, and maintaining workplans
  • Support hybrid instruments structuring,
  • Prepare client presentations and transaction documents with clear, datadriven recommendations and wellsourced market benchmarks
  • Conduct due diligence, market, and industry research to form credit strategy and investor positioning
  • Coordinate stakeholders including clients, internal partners, lawyers, and rating agencies to progress transactions efficiently and track deliverables to timelines
  • Execute client transactions from initiation through close with strong attention to detail and timelines

  • Manage project workstreams appropriate to level; escalate issues and drive resolution proactively with clear communication and status reporting

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Prior experience in a fulltime investment banking frontoffice role or at a credit rating agency
  • Strong accounting, finance, quantitative, and business writing skills with attention to detail
  • Proficient in credit analysis, accounting, financial analysis, and financial modeling, including threestatement modeling, cash flow, and capital structure analysis
  • Ability to interact effectively with senior professionals, clients, and crossfunctional stakeholders with professional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Selfdirected, highly motivated, and able to work independently in fastpaced deal environments while balancing multiple workstreams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related business field (or equivalent experience)
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Prior experience in credit ratings advisory and/or debt advisory
  • Experience preparing clientready materials and transaction documentation for ratings and issuance processes (e.g., rating agency presentations, investor materials)
  • Exposure to fixed income markets, investor considerations, and distribution dynamics
  • Familiarity with credit rating agencies’ methodology
