As a Sales Analyst/ Associate in our Equities Electronic Execution Sales team, you will support client electronic execution needs and business growth. You will collaborate with sales, electronic trading, Prime sales, and product partners to provide coordinated coverage and timely solutions. You will run the client-facing aspects of onboarding, respond to client requests, support the marketing of algo & electronic trading tools, and help identify business growth opportunities both with existing clients and new client segments. You will bring curiosity, organization, and strong attention to detail while operating with urgency in a high-pressure environment.
Job responsibilities
- Manage client-facing aspects of onboarding to the equity trading platform, co-ordinating between different teams and managing the client experience
- Develop and support sales and marketing campaigns for electronic execution, including regular newsletters, webinars, client events and meetings
- Own the sales pipeline process and run analysis to define opportunities with existing clients
- Build relationships with developing clients and client segments on equity trading topics – this may include Asia-based hedge funds, private banks and global institutions
- Partner with global electronic sales, electronic trading, Prime sales, and product teams to deliver comprehensive client coverage
- Respond to client queries and requests related to electronic execution needs
- Build and develop product knowledge to support broader client conversations and solutions
- Maintain high standards of process discipline, quality control, and attention to detail in daily execution support
- Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders and clients to ensure timely follow-through and issue resolution
- Apply creative problem solving to navigate time-sensitive requests and operational challenges
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Proven sales track record; highly motivated and target driven
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Tableau and Excel)
- Proficiency with Bloomberg
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong understanding of equities and the needs of different types of equity investors
- Strong attention to detail with a disciplined approach to process and quality control
- Effective communication skills to interact with internal partners and clients
- Ability to perform well under pressure with appropriate urgency
- Mandarin language skills
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Prior experience in a financial institution
- Prior experience in sales within Global Markets
- Clear, logical thinking with strong qualitative judgment
- Ability to learn quickly, multitask, and self-manage priorities
- Exposure to electronic execution platforms including Bloomberg, and other EMSs
