DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Review and deliver Net Asset Values (NAVs) reports to clients using exception-based accounting tools, and review alerts and validate to strike accurate NAVs. Ensure checks are properly run and documented. Work with global cross-functional teams to resolve queries and work with client servicing teams to drive solutions. Create, maintain, and update best practices to ensure a consistent global operating model and help train global teams. Collaborate with internal business and operational readiness teams through onboarding and liquidation of client mandates. Identify efficiencies and areas for improvement to reduce risk. Review hedge share classes to ensure all hedging levels and class level NAVs are within client-specified tolerances, and drive resolution if necessary. Review Contract for Differences (CFDs) investments daily to ensure accurate recording, and assess posted trades and potential impacts. Work with the Global Derivatives Operations and Exchange Traded Derivatives teams to ensure accurate recording of all derivatives-related trades, and review associated reconciliations. Update swing factors to align with client requirements and determine whether swing action is necessary for the fund. Review next-day swing checks for accuracy and address audit-related queries. Work with internal teams, advisors, and clients to resolve aging cash and assets breaks and action any NAV impacting breaks on priority to resolution. Determine and instruct necessary corporate actions to be booked. Prepare weekly and monthly collateral for serviced funds to compare statement balances and resolve differences. Run periodic tests conducted by the IT team to enhance new updates and give appropriate feedback before it gets implemented making sure there are no lapses in reports getting delivered to the client.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field of study plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or as Fund Servicing, Financial Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Fund Servicing, Financial Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: analyzing hedge levels and class level divergence for single currency and basket-hedged share classes; writing VBA macros in Excel for financial data; analyzing fixed income yield types for client amortization calculations, including YTM, YTC, and YTW and their impact on fund level yields; performing root cause analyses of calculation errors in fund level yields and fund net asset values, as well as developing resolutions to fix the issues; using Alteryx to drive process improvements and reduce repetitive tasks; evaluating mutual fund balance sheets and the impact of different factors on the net asset value of mutual funds; corporate action types including stock splits, rights offerings, and mandatory exchanges, and assessing their impact on the net asset value of mutual funds; formatting and analyzing multi-year data sets using Running Invest One OLEs and reconciling broker statements; fixed income, equity, CFD, and derivatives asset classes, including their transaction processes and methods for reconciliation; Swing Pricing; multi-manager fund structures and analyzing NAV reporting; using Microsoft Excel and exception-based accounting tools including the Invest One Exception Management System and Invest One OLE to identify, research, and validate fund exceptions.
