As an Investment Banking Associate / Analyst, you’ll be able to develop your skillsets ranging from analytical, presentation, negotiation as well as stakeholders’ management. You will have opportunities to meet and cultivate relationships with corporate and institutional clients in different sectors and geographies. You’ll work on transactions across the spectrum of our banking products, including mergers & acquisitions, equity capital markets, debt capital markets, divestitures, restructurings, loans, etc.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Working with senior bankers in deals origination and execution across products range including M&As, ECM (IPO, PO and Blocks), bonds, loans and structured products.
  • Prepare client materials such as pitchbooks, financial analysis, investor presentations.
  • Possess strong financial modeling skill/potential.
  • Creating financial models and detailed valuation analysis for pitches / projects.
  • Interacting with senior team members and client management teams to execute transactions and identifying and managing all risks in each deal.
  • Guiding, reviewing and coordinating the analytic work of junior bankers to move marketing / execution process forward.
  • Liaising with internal and external parties on transactions (e.g. lawyers, accountants, counterparties).
  • Providing leadership and mentorship in guiding and training junior bankers and research analysts.
  • Leading client negotiations, Q&A process, due diligence and management interviews.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience in an investment banking front office role.
  • Understanding of financial/business concepts.
  • Strong accounting, finance, quantitative and business writing skills.
  • Demonstrate common sense and possess good communication skills.
  • Willingness to work hard and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with sound analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
