Senior Network Project Manager
Job Descriptions
The successful candidate for this role will work as ETS (Enterprise Technology Services) regional team and will be responsible for developing end-to-end enterprise solutions for Manulife Data and Voice Network in Asia Region:
The person is responsible for the design, implementation, and configuration on Enterprise LAN, WAN network includes Cisco Devices; Software Defined Network; Aruba; Network Access Control etc.
The position requires network security background for making sure all of security policies and procedures are being implemented as per Manulife security policies and guidelines.
The person is able to manage multiple projects and RFS simultaneously and has experience providing outstanding customer service in a 7x24 operational environment with high availability (99.99%).
Interface with vendors to identify and purchase hardware and software that meets requirements defined by the IT Infrastructure team.
Evaluates and identifies opportunities for network performance and functionality improvements.
Create, and maintain technical/operational/project documentations
Build Project management framework for team
Lead local team for projects in Asia with excellent documentation
Very Strong on both technical and troubleshooting Skill
Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required
Bachelor or Master degree with 10-20+ years with project management experience on developing & transforming enterprises Data network and VoIP infrastructure, and should have following:
Regional exposure to manage infrastructure of Enterprise company
In-depth project management experience with leading large scale projects
Proven experience and success with LAN, WAN, and WLAN design and implementation.
Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices
Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards, including (OSPF, BGP, DNS, DHCP, NTP)
Ability to solve problems quickly and to automate and improve processes
Work closely with product development teams to design and implement network solutions that meet aggressive deployment schedules
Work with management to understand the requirements of a dynamic and growing business environment
Respond to all audit results with an action plan; implement recommended improvements to processes
Natural ability in troubleshooting, and eager to learn technologies outside of core job responsibilities.
Vendor/Service Provider Management experience
Good writing skills for documentations
Desired Skills
Insurance/Financial Industry experience will be plus but not mandatory
CCNA, CCNP, CCIE certifications, Wireshark Certified Network Analyst (WCNA) and/or other related technical certifications (e.g. Avaya) are desirable
Security Certifications e.g. CISSP are desirable
