The Opportunity

JHIM is seeking a Registered Investment Advisor focused Strategic Accounts salesperson to engage with new and existing clients to drive sales across the entire suite of JHIM products. This position is responsible for coverage of RIA Aggregators firms, RIA Platform firms and National RIA firms throughout the United States. A successful candidate will be a Strategic thinker that collaborates well, thrives in a fast-paced results oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Home office focused distribution of mutual funds, ETFs, 529 plans, UCITS, SMAs, and Private Placement offerings through increased recommended list placements and model portfolio allocations.
- Maintain and build client relationships by providing timely information on products, capital market intelligence, practice management advice and above all, exceptional client service through coordinated coverage with internal stakeholders.
- Conduct a robust schedule of client facing activities through group and one-on-one in-person meetings, virtual meetings, phone calls, and emails.
- Coordinate JHIM conference support and represent JHIM at in-person and virtual events including national and regional conferences, seminars, and sales training meetings.
- Act as a centralized point of contact for relationship managers and regional leadership at partner firms.
- Develop and deepen relationships with various firm contacts across the firms to support strategic initiatives.
- Effectively manage the assigned territory by properly leveraging all available resources including but not limited to product specialists, portfolio consultants and prudent allocation of travel & entertainment budget.
Recommended Experience
- Bachelors Degree required, MBA preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of asset management experience preferred
- Series 7 and 66 or 63 licenses required
- CFA, CAIA, CIMA designations preferred
- Excellent in-person and virtual communication skills
- Effective time management, technological, and organizational skills
- Candidates with existing client relationships are preferred

Salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
