We currently have an opening for a Relationship Manager, Taft-Hartley Defined Contribution Business:
Responsible for managing a case of multiemployer Taft-Hartley clients. The Taft-Hartley relationship manager is responsible for ensuring top of the line client service for all their assigned plans. It is the expectation that the Taft-Hartley relationship manager job functions would include the following each executed upon request in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Management
Engage with Fund Administrators, Trustees, Auditors, Attorneys and TPA’s
Monitor adherence to performance standards for board of trustees
Manage projects and assignments as needed
Monitor workflow within group with respect to daily processing and assigned projects
Promote teamwork and service excellence
Effectively anticipates and / or creatively resolves problems
Attend client conference calls and client trustee meetings
Quality Control
Monitor adherence to quality control standards
Monitor adherence to service standards
Overall responsibility for timely and accurate delivery of all client work
Operational Efficiencies
Identify opportunities and implement procedures for improving and streamlining areas’ operations with assistance from the Divisional Vice President and fellow Relationship Managers
Assist Client Account Managers with planning and implementation of operational changes leading to increased efficiencies for their assigned cases / reengineering cases
Client
Monitor client satisfaction levels and make recommendations to Boards of Trustees, TPA’s, Fund Administrators and other Plan Specialists for improvement
Maintain appropriate client retention levels
Attend client meetings and final sales meetings as a resource when applicable
Expected travel 4 times per month
Internal Communications
Facilitate communication between recordkeeping group and other departments
Provide teams with information on department and corporate goals and objectives, and performance of the team versus agreed upon standards for profitability and quality control
Act as an alternate representative of the relationship manager department in operations and development meetings to set company policies, standards, procedures and help establish and develop products and services
Present oral and written information in a clear, concise, and organized manner
Conversions
Work with Regional Vice Presidents and Divisional Vice President in assigning new business
Attend conversion debriefing meetings when appropriate
Training
Obtain feedback from clients at year end and as needed
Identify overall training needs; update training material as needed
Provide training to team members, using both internal and external resources, as required
Required Qualifications:
Experience in working with Taft-Hartley plans
Understanding the nuances of the Taft-Hartley market
10 plus years of recordkeeping experience
10 plus years recordkeeping management experience
Posses strong written, communication, and presentation skills

Salary & Benefits
Salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
